The Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB) provides students with a technology-enabled learning environment to allow students to develop the transferable skills to be future ready. This digital learning environment includes Information and Computing Technologies (ICT) and may include cloud-based applications, software, and access to technology in the classroom.
Technology-enabled learning environments allow students to develop their creativity, collaboration, communication and critical thinking skills. They also allow students to access their learning materials in an organized manner, demonstrate and share their learning with teachers and classmates. The skills students acquire when engaging in a technology-enabled learning environment will allow them to become productive and safe digital citizens.
